Sushant Singh Murder mystery exposed the whole drug syndicate in Bollywood and his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty along with a few people got arrested for the same. Eventually, twenty-two names from the industry were revealed by Rhea during the Narcotics Control Bureau’s interrogation in the drugs case which included the names of Rakulpreet Singh and Sara Ali Khan.
Now as per the latest report, Actress Rakulpreet Singh has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court regarding the investigation going on in the drug cases related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. As a result, Delhi High Court has issued a notice to Prasar Bharti, Information and Broadcasting Ministry, News Broadcasters Association (NBA), and the Press Council of India.
Delhi High Court has clearly mentioned in the issued notice that the court expects that all the media channels will show only relevant news related to the drugs case and Rakulpreet would also follow the guidelines issued by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry (I&B). The court concluded it’s noticed by saying that even if a single channel will face the consequences of maligning someone’s image without proof, all of them will get a strong message.
As per the reports published on legal websites, Rakulpreet has said that these shows are not following the guidelines issued by the Information and Broadcast Ministry. Moreover, she said that her name has been used by the media channels only and NCB has not confirmed her involvement in the drugs case. Until now Rhea Chakraborty along with her brother Showkin Chakraborty has been sent to the judicial custody along with 16 other people. Other major accused in the case are Sushant’s household staff including Dipesh Sawant, Samuel Miranda, and around 6 drug peddlers too.
Incidentally, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra residence on June 14 and after his demise, social media got really heat up and people came in support of in-depth investigation in the late actor’s case. Rhea Chakraborty is the prime accused in the case and currently, she is behind the bars for procuring drugs.
